Rhamnus frangula ‘Asplenifolia’ is an unusual plant that looks somewhere between a bamboo and an acer from a distance. Its tall upright and columnar growth habit means it can reach a looming 3m in height, and its foliage is long, slender and with a slightly crinckled sinuate edges. It has a breif floweing period during the spring when is puts on a show of small, inconspicuous white flowers in clusters along the stems.

The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions. Bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
